Thought Vibration and The Law of Attraction.

Thought Vibration and The Law of Attraction has become quite a hot topic over the last few years, particularly after the 2006 film release ‘The Secret,’ which has gained a massive amount of public attention.

Rhonda Byrne actually drew her inspiration from works dating back to the late 19th century.

William Walter Atkinson wrote ‘Thought Vibration, or ‘The Law of Attraction in the Thought world,’ in 1906, and Wallace. D. Wattles wrote ’The Science of Getting Rich’ in 1910.

They were both associated with the ‘New Thought Movement,’ which had been started by a collection of individuals who believed in life force energy, healing, visualization and personal power.

In fact these fundamental ideas date much further back in history and are at the roots of many religions.

What is thought vibration and how does ‘The Law of Attraction’ work?

The theory of Thought Vibration, is that, at the quantum level everything is vibrating. All energy and matter, the whole universe, is composed of patterns of vibrating atoms and molecules.

The Antennae Galaxies. Hubbel. NASA We as humans, are part of and connected to, this life force. It is only due to the limitation of our senses that our world appears to us as ‘solid.’

We are energy. Our thoughts are energy. They have a frequency and can be measured. We are capable of millions of thoughts in a single day. Some are positive and some negative. The more positive and highly charged the thought, the higher it’s frequency.



The Law Of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction is very simple.

The universe matches your thoughts. You get back more of what you send out

Like attracts like.

If you feel doubtful and frustrated, that is the thought signal that you transmit to the universe. You get back more of the same. More frustration, more doubt.

If however, you resonate and vibrate on the higher energy frequency of joy and love. You will experience joy and love.

The universe (what you perceive as your reality) doesn’t distinguish between the positive or negative. It simply delivers more of what you think about the most!

As a new golfer I’m very aware of the immediate results of this concept. I spend a lot of time at the moment in rough or bunkers. (Why do I play this crazy game?)

As I approach a difficult shot, I find myself constantly thinking about not hitting into the bunker.... and yes, you guessed it! Where do I end up?….. In the bunker!My thought focus is ‘bunker’. That is what my brain registers. That is what I get!

Observe your thoughts.

In order to create a more abundant life. It’s necessary to observe your thoughts, as much as possible . If you are able to catch yourself in the thinking process and observe the quality of your thought vibration, it is possible to let go of the negative ones and focus on the positive ones. Dwelling on problems and wrestling with them, only gives more power to them. So try to acknowledge them and then either let go of them or reframe them into a positive thought.

Emotions.

The easiest way for us to begin to identify our thoughts and our thought vibration, is through our emotions. Our feelings are a great indicator of our vibration state.

Combine positive emotions like enthusiasm and passion into your thoughts and immediately your thought vibration will become more powerful.

For ‘The Law of Attraction,’ to succeed you need to back up the thought with the charge of positive emotion. These positive thoughts combined with emotion influence others as well as ourselves and they reflect back to us that to which we are ’tuned’ into. If we are happy and relaxed we will attract people to us who are happy and relaxed.

People vibrate at different frequencies so you can actually be ‘in tune’ or ‘in harmony,’ with another person! People who are resonating in a higher frequency state can lift the vibration level of someone in a lower state. Of course we’ve all experienced the opposite as well. A time when we’ve felt fantastic only to be ’brought down’ by the company of a miserable or angry person!

Celebrate your life.

Get started straight away and test out the power of ‘The Law Of Attraction’ for yourself.

Begin by celebrating your life.

A great time to do this is first thing in the morning before you start your day.

I’ve started getting up half an hour early, to go for a walk round the block. This gives me time to enjoy the morning, (even if it’s raining) and to think about all the wonderful things in my life. I love these walks. I immediately feel happy and alive. This a great starting place. I celebrate my life. I count my blessings. I look at the beautiful things around me.

I use this time to frame the nature of my day ahead. To outline the things I want to achieve. To prioritise the tasks ahead. I visualize a happy and purposeful day. A day where I will enjoy and make the most of every moment. It also has the dual purpose of keeping me fit!

So begin by looking at all the great things you have, or that you have done. Feel gratitude for them. Focus on the feelings of love, joy, fun and pleasure. Fill yourself up to the brim with those good vibrations. Now, as you go through your day take this with you. Notice how suddenly, the canvas of your life is brighter and more colourful, simply by looking at it through different eyes!

Getting what you want!

I don’t believe that ‘The Law of Attraction,’ is the quick fix for getting what you want. What you wish for will not always magically appear. It can take time. For your dreams to become a reality patience and stick-ability is needed.

Understanding the fundamental concepts enables us to strive to improve our thinking and take charge and control over our own lives. We are not able to change others, but we can change ourselves. By doing so others will be influenced by us indirectly.

The essence of the theory is self mastery. It is about being at peace and ease with yourself. Along with control over your thoughts and actions, go discipline, determination, will power, enthusiasm, passion and sheer hard work.

With purposeful intention and mind power, the energy of your thought vibration will set in motion ‘The law of Attraction.’
